About the position

As a patrol security guard at Avarn Security, you have an important role in creating a sense of security for our customers and their businesses. The work is varied and involves moving between different sites where you are responsible for supervision, control, and preventive security work.

The position combines security work with a clear service mandate. You represent Avarn Security at the customer site and are expected to act professionally, calmly, and service-oriented in all situations. You work independently but are also part of a larger team where collaboration and communication are crucial. The position is initially a temporary-on-demand contract with good opportunities for permanent employment later on.

Examples of tasks

In the role of a patrol security guard, you contribute daily to a safe and functional environment. The work includes among other things:

• Conducting supervision checks for our customers
• Handling alarms, deviations, and incidents according to established routines
• Preventing risks and identifying safety deficiencies
• Interacting with customers, the public, and colleagues with a focus on service and good treatment.
• Reporting incidents and performing simpler administrative tasks
• Contributing to order, structure, and a safe approach in all assignments

You work according to clear instructions and security routines, but are also expected to be able to make your own decisions and adapt your actions to the situation and the customer's needs. The work requires good judgment, responsibility, and the ability to maintain a calm and service-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Good English in speech and writing
• High school diploma or equivalent

Meritorious but not required:

• Completed security guard training (VU1 + VU2)

To be employed, you must be crime-free, drug-free, in good health, have sound finances, and meet the industry's requirements according to current legislation.

If you have the right profile for Avarn Security but lack the prescribed security guard training, we will provide the training. Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted via BYA – The Security Industry's Professional and Occupational Health Committee and is a prerequisite for employment.
